Welcome to the 2016
Pacific AP® Institute Summer Program

The Pacific AP® Institute offers intensive four day teacher-training sessions designed to develop and fine tune the skills of both beginning and experienced AP® teachers. All sessions will be conducted by faculty members chosen for their dynamic presentation skills and involvement with the Advanced Placement program. An overall view of the course syllabus will be presented along with extensive discussions of course planning and management. The sessions will also focus on selecting materials and preparing students for the AP® exam. The Institute also offers a unique opportunity for teachers to network with other teachers in their subject areas.

The Institute will be held at one of the newest additions to the California State University (CSU) system: CSU at Monterey Bay. The campus is in Seaside, five miles north of the city of Monterey within a mile of Monterey Bay, one of the most picturesque sections of the California coastline. The cities of Monterey and Carmel are minutes away with their many historic and scenic attractions.
